Anatomy and Physiology Revision

The Learning Hub hosts several collections of self-test quizzes and workbooks, which are valuable revision tools for anyone to check their understanding of anatomy and physiology.

Each set of quizzes was created to support a particular training program at Kings Health Partners, but the quizzes themselves are open to all staff, trainees and students.  You can choose between very quick basic quizzes or more challenging extended workbooks on each major body system.

Current quiz sets are listed below – more are under development!

  • Introduction to Paediatric Nursing: basic paediatric physiology and nursing practice. These six quizzes take 5 to 10 minutes each and cover the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, plus breasfeeding, infant care, child development and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
  • Anatomy, Physiology and Medications for Paediatric Nursing: These 12 quizzes take 10 to 20 minutes each and cover the respiratory, cardiovascular and renal systems, neurology, metabolism, and sepsis.
  • Introduction to Critical Care Nursing: comprehensive anatomy and physiology. These four workbooks take up to an hour each to complete. They cover respiration, ventilation, the cardiovascular and renal systems, the liver and sepsis.
  • Advanced Pathophysiology for Critical Care Nursing: These seven workbooks cover cellular function, advanced respiration, haemodynamics, blood pressure, the neurological and renal systems, endocrinology, immunology and thermodynamics.
