This popular series of clinical case presentations and seminars in is held on Friday mornings. Presentations are predominantly clinical cases from general and malignant haematology and may be typical cases of a disease, unusual diagnostic or clinical features of a disease or cases of some rarer diseases. The series also includes seminars on flow cytometry, cytogenetics and molecular biology throughout the year.

The presentations usually last 30 to 40 minutes, including time for questions and discussion with the audience – a range of senior haematology consultants, registrars, trainees, nurses and molecular science laboratory staff.

Any member of King’s Health Partners is welcome to view the live presentation remotely and participate in the discussion. Recordings of recent presentations are also available to watch.

The series is organised and edited by Dr Robin Ireland, a Consultant Haematologist at King’s College Hospital and the Lead Clinician for the King’s Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Centre (KHMDC).
