About this course
We invite you to the KHP Cardiovascular & Respiratory Partnership's Primary Care Short Course on Lung Cancer. The main aim of this course is to provide a Primary Care update on diagnosis, management, and common pitfalls in planning care for patients with Lung Cancer. The course is open to all but may be of particular interest to Primary Care Multidisciplinary Teams especially GP Nurses, Pharmacists, and GPs.
Presentation and discussion will be focused on diagnosis, management and experience of living with Lung Cancer in the primary care setting and guidance on where integrated care might help, and when to refer to secondary or tertiary care.
Hear from expert speakers from across the Partnership with interesting session structures we are calling 'Fireside Chats'. 'Fireside Chat' sessions will have a minimum of two speakers, made up of speakers from King’s Health Partners Partnership sites and Primary Care. The sessions are designed to deliver high quality teaching and learning outcomes through a dialogue-based approach.
