Ethics and Information Governance for AI focuses on the foundations of AI in healthcare, covering the UK Legal and Regulatory Framework and the consideration of Health Data Governance. This course also covers responsible AI development and practical ethics in AI Health Research. This training is offered by the King's Health Partners Digital Health Academy.

About this course
In this course, we will explore how AI governance and ethics in health research are evolving—not as entirely new challenges, but as new manifestations of long-standing ethical principles. Through the course you’ll gain an understanding of key ethical frameworks, governance structures, and real-world examples of AI’s successes and limitations in health research.
This course is asynchronous and consists of 4 modules.

This course is for you if you are:
A health or care professional, information governor, researcher, student, patient, or if you are interested in ethics, information governance and AI.
This course is open access and asynchronous (you can complete it in your own time).
At the end of this course, upon completion of all sections including activities, a certificate will be awarded.
