About this course
This course is aimed at a wide range of professionals across South East London who can have a role in supporting positive health outcomes of their residents, in having a positive impact on population health as well as management of long-term conditions and well-being.

By the end of this course, participants will:
1. Increase awareness of cultural diversity, language barriers, bias and health stigma for those seeking support for long-term conditions (eLearning)
2. Develop a reflective practice to understand own biases and personal characteristics, and how these may influence communication and relationship building with service users (eLearning)
3. Develop confidence and skills in building trust, psychological safety and trauma-informed service delivery to support those with long-term conditions (Optional workshop)
4. Develop confidence and skills in applying effective communication approaches to support those with long-term conditions (Optional workshop)
5. Increase knowledge of appropriate pathways and signposting for those seeking support for long-term conditions (Optional workshop)
