About the course:

This is a short course on the management of patients with sickle cell presenting with pain.

This course covers the approach to sickle cell pain management, it touches on other complications that patients with sickle cell may develop, that we should be aware of. It also introduces what health related stigma is, and explains how it impacts on the care patients with sickle cell receive.
